We are presently suppliers of racing colours to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II When Colonel F.E. Gibson founded Gibson Saddlers during the early 1900s, he had one vision in mind — to create stylish but durable, high quality saddlery. As a horseman, he knew his leather wear had to do much more than just look good; it had to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use. The company eventually moved to Newmarket to cater for the needs of the ever expanding racing industry and changed hands a number of times before being bought by successful racehorse trainer Willie Stephenson in 1960. For the past 46 years, Gibson Saddlers has carried on through Willie’s daughter Liz and, latterly, her husband and son.
